Non-surgical options like weight loss or hormone changes may have some effect, but a significant and lasting reduction usually requires breast reduction surgery.
Exercise can tone the chest muscles and reduce body fat, which may subtly alter the appearance of the breasts. However, breasts are primarily composed of glandular tissue and fat, so exercise alone cannot dramatically increase or reduce size.
Genetics plays a major role in determining breast size, along with hormonal influences and body composition.
Hormonal changes during puberty, pregnancy, or menopause can increase or decrease breast size. Hormone therapy may also affect breast volume in some cases.
