Advanced Skin Imaging: Digital Ultra Violet (UV) Photography

Richard Buckley, MD and Canfield Scientific, Inc. announced the addition of Digital UV Photography to Pocono Medical Care in Milford, Pennsylvania.

Featuring a high-resolution digital SLR camera, ultraviolet filters, and Mirror® advanced image processing software, the Canfield Digital UV system allows physicians to quickly and easily assess UV Photography Sun Damage that is not visible with the naked eye.

“Skin cancer incidence continues to rise at an alarming rate,” said Tom Bialoglow of Canfield Scientific. “Physicians need tools to show patients how much sun damage they really have. This is where our Digital UV system is an asset in the war on cancer.”
