Treatment Specifications

Laser System: Medlite™ C3 Medlite™ C6
Wavelength: 1064 nm (infrared)

The Medlite c6 laser tattoo removal long wavelength, short pulse duration and high peak power combine to optimally destroy dark chromophores with a very low risk of permanent tissue damage. Research conducted by R. Rox Anderson, MD and Suzanne Kilmer, MD at the Massachusetts General Hospital showed the 1064 nm wavelength to be excellent in the removal of black and dark blue ink, even in darker skin. The longer 1064 nm wavelength significantly lowers the risk of hypopigmentation when compared to lasers in 600 – 800 nm range, while the short nanosecond pulse duration limits the tissue’s exposure to heat build-up, therefore reducing the risk of scarring.

Red Ink Tattoo Removal

Treatment Specifications
Laser System: Medlite™ C3 Medlite™ C6
Wavelength: 532 (green)

Red tattoo ink is very common in professional tattoos. The 532 nm wavelength is ideal for the removal of red colored ink, which is typically resistant to removal with 600 – 800 nm light. Significant red ink removal has been demonstrated with just one treatment of 532 nm.

Green & Sky Blue Tattoo Removal

Treatment Specifications
Laser System: Medlite™ C6 with MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces
Wavelength: 585 (yellow) 650 (red)

Today many different colors are showing up in tattoos, creating quite a challenge for the physician when the tattoo is to be removed. The 585 and 650 nm wavelengths provided with the MultiLite Handpieces gives the physician more tools in his/her arsenal for treating these challenging colors. The 585 nm wavelength is used to treat sky blue inks, while the 650 nm wavelength is used to treat green inks.

Technical Descriptions

The VersaPulse Laser is used by Doctors of Pike County, MilfordMD Cosmetic Dermatology for Botox, Collagen, Laser Hair Removal, Glycolic Peels, Microdermabrasion, Photo facial, Laser Tattoo Removal near me, Spider Vein TreatmentThe VersaPulse is four lasers in one unit, including three proven Q-switched lasers (Q-switched ND:YAG, Q-switched Alexandrite, and Q-switched FD ND:YAG) optimized for all tattoo colors and pigmented lesions. Additionally, there is a high-energy, long pulse green (HELP-G) laser (variable pulse width FD ND:YAG) allowing for selective treatment of a wide variety of vascular conditions with minimal or no purpura (bruising). The high-energy, long pulse green (HELP-G) pulse width is adjustable form 2-50 milliseconds, which allows specific targeting of different diameter blood vessels. The longer pulse width minimizes and often eliminates purpura. The HELP-G allows treatment at larger spot sizes and higher fluences, which results in deeper penetration and more complete treatment. It offers solid state design that eliminates the need for dyes and ensures high performance, durability and low operating costs. A special chill tip delivery device actively cools the skin during vascular treatments, reducing or eliminating epidermal thermal damage. Both the VersaSpot F Chill Tip handpiece and the VersaSpot QS handpiece, used for delivery of all Q-switched wavelengths, have a unique spot-size sensing feature, which automatically adjusts fluence whenever the spot size is changed. The VersaPulse C has a touch screen display for easy selection of wavelength and treatment parameters.

FAQ's

The use of Medlite™ laser technology for tattoo removal ensures a comfortable and safe experience with minimal risk of scarring. Its high-energy, pulsed technology sets it apart from other lasers and makes it a preferred choice for those seeking tattoo removal.

No, our Medlite™ C3 and C6 lasers, with a 532 nm wavelength, are ideal for removing red-colored ink, even in cases where traditional 600 – 800 nm light is less effective. Significant results can be achieved with just one treatment.

Absolutely. The Medlite™ C6, equipped with MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces, offers 585 nm and 650 nm wavelengths, designed explicitly for treating challenging colors like sky blue and green inks.

The VersaPulse laser is a highly versatile tool that packs four lasers into a single unit. Three Q-switched lasers are specifically designed to target various tattoo colors. Its high-energy, long-pulse green laser also enables selective treatment of vascular conditions with minimal bruising, making it an excellent choice for those seeking comprehensive tattoo removal.
