Wrinkle & Acne Scar Reduction & Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing
Non-ablative skin resurfacing – including wrinkle and acne scar reduction – is a gentler alternative to ablative laser treatments, with no patient downtime and a low risk of complications for all skin types. As a gentler alternative to ablative laser treatments, this therapy offers many benefits over traditional resurfacing methods. The 1064 nm infrared wavelength of the RevLite® and MedLite® C6 lasers is becoming the method of choice for all skin types. Patients and doctors rave about the results including improved skin tone, smoother texture and reduced wrinkles.
Dermal Pigmented Lesions
The powerful 1064 infrared wavelength available with each HOYA ConBio® medical laser provides advanced treatment for dermal melanocytosis such as Nevus of Ota and aberrant Mongolian spots.
Dermal Pigmented NEVUS of OTA
The deep-penetrating 1064 nm wavelength of the MedLite® C6 laser provides an effective treatment for nevi. It is also a helpful addition when using chemicals, peels, and other treatment modalities to treat facial dyschromia.
Benefits of Non-Ablative Wrinkle and Acne Scar Reduction
Non-ablative laser treatments have become popular because they produce similar skin resurfacing results as some aggressive laser peels, but with little to no healing time. The MedLite® C6 uses a 1064 nm wavelength, an infrared wavelength clinically shown to safely penetrate the dermis and stimulate the tissue, causing remodeling and building of collagen. As a result, we are able to treat the papillary dermis without removing (or ablating) layers of the dermis.
ConBio® Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing Therapies Can:
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce/improve acne scars
- Remove brown spots
- Reduce uneven skin color
- Improve crow’s feet
- Smooth smoker’s lines around the mouth
The MedLite® C6 utilizes an electro-optic (EO) Q-switch that acts as a high-speed shutter, producing short pulse widths at peak power. The result is a PhotoAcoustic effect to the molecules in the dermis, nanosecond pulses that deliver maximum energy output safely and efficiently. RevLite’s PhotoAcoustic Technology Pulse® harnesses up to 60 percent more power and delivers very narrow pulse widths of high energy, even at larger spot sizes.
Dark Ink Tattoo Removal
With a long wavelength, short pulse duration, and high peak power output, the MedLite® aesthetic medical laser is able to effectively destroy dark chromophores (i.e., tattoo ink) with a very low risk of permanent tissue damage. When compared to lasers in the 600 to 800 nm range, the 1064 nm wavelength produced by a HOYA ConBio® laser lowers the risk of hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. The short, rapid nanosecond pulse widths limit the build-up of heat, reducing the risk of scarring.
Hair Removal
Hair removal is one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the country. MedLite® C6 lasers offer effective, safe hair removal plus a spectrum of other FDA-cleared treatments, including skin resurfacing for the treatment of wrinkles and acne scars, tattoo removal, and treatment of pigmented lesions (brown spots). These multi-purpose premium engineered lasers produce exceptional results safely, quickly, and efficiently.
