What is a Kybella® Neck Treatment?
Kybella® a non-surgical FDA-approved injection treatment to reduce moderate to severe fat on the neck, commonly referred to as the “double chin.” Kybella® contains a naturally occurring molecule, called deoxycholic acid, that dissolves fat cells. The Kybella® Neck Treatment Experience
Before your Kybella® neck treatment, the injection sites in your upper neck area are mapped out. The doctor than systematically injects the solution within the treatment area, applying contouring techniques to improve the chin and neck profile. The procedure is quick and quite comfortable, although some patients may experience a slight burning sensation when the Kybella® solution is being injected. Depending on the severity of fat in the neck area, patients may need a second or third treatment for optimal results.
