Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf issued a statewide order for all residents to stay at home in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). While we know this is going to be a trying time, we are doing what we can to help keep our community safe. In light of this news, our typical operations here at MilfordMD Cosmetic Dermatology Surgery &Laser Center will look a little different for a while; we’re currently performing all new consults virtually!
In order to keep our patients and staff safe we went virtual with free virtual consults by video or phone!
The global pandemic of Covid-19 is making life very uncertain, but what hasn’t altered is our commitment to you. Our patient’s safety has always been and will remain our priority. While Covid-19 may be impacting on our day to day business operations for the time being, we are still available for virtual consultations.
What is a virtual consultation?
A virtual consultation is exactly what its name suggests – a consultation between you and our expert cosmetic surgery team from the comfort and safety of your home. Virtual consultations are not something new to us. For many years we have been using virtual consultations to enable patients near and far to access our services without making multiple trips to our office. This extensive experience in providing consultations in this way gives us an edge in providing highly accurate and personalized consultations with our patients.
We will schedule a telephone and potentially video consultation with you, where our physicians will ask you pertinent questions about your health and well being, and your cosmetic interests, as part of the consultation process. We may ask you to provide supplemental photos for to aid in our assessment. This will enable us to make an more informed decision about the best options available for you. The telephone or video consultation will also allow us to explain more about what you can expect from the proposed treatment modalities or surgery and answer any questions that you have.
Although we are unable to perform elective procedures at the current time, we can still assess your candidacy for your chosen cosmetic procedures via a virtual consultation and schedule your procedure for the future. This will shorten your timeline to treatment, meaning that we can schedule you in for your transformation as soon as it is safe to do so. Virtual consultations are complimentary at this time.
